Epilogue
Why did you choose these particular quotations to illustrate this theme?
I chose those quotations in particular because all of them relate to the theme of the biblical quote; "Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good." Both the stories had the theme of genuine love, a form of evil (betrayal), and a form of good (loyalty). Those quotations fit perfectly, so I used them to illustrate the theme.
How did your chosen sound, images, layout elements, animations help to illustrate your theme?
How I chose my images and layout elements to help illustrate my theme was to use images that represent the events that was taking place at that point of the story. The images represent the scene and the actions that the characters may have been doing. The images were either from a movie, a play or an old art piece made for the play.
What connections outside both works can this theme make?
A connection I can make about the theme of family and friendship is that, they are the ones you need to rely on the most. The characters in the stories lack the use of family and friendship and is mostly about betrayal. As an example if Baba from The Kite Runner treated Amir like his actual son, then maybe he wouldn't be so pressured in to trying to impress him. My parents have expectations for me, but they would never neglect me for not meeting them, it's because we are family.
